Work With Steve

Training Programs

Every program is built around the same principle: give your dog the space to make good decisions, and they will.

01

Private Training

For owners dealing with real behavior problems who need hands-on guidance in their own environment.

Your dog is reacting, pulling, or shutting down — and corrections aren't working. Steve comes to you, observes what's actually happening in your home and neighborhood, and teaches you a different approach.

Private training is built around your dog's specific challenges: reactivity on walks, anxiety at home, difficulty settling, or behaviors that have gotten worse over time. Steve works with you directly so you understand not just what to do, but why it works.

Real-world skills. Lasting results. Because the goal isn't a well-behaved dog at a training facility — it's a dog who makes good choices in your actual life.

Boarding

For dogs who need structure, calm, and consistent enrichment while their owners are away.

When your dog stays with Steve, they're not just being watched — they're being worked with. The environment is designed from the ground up for calm: predictable routines, structured rest, and mental enrichment that meets the dog where they are.

Every boarding stay is tailored to the dog. Some dogs need more decompression time. Some need confidence-building through problem-solving activities. Some just need a consistent, patient handler who doesn't react to the behavior they're working through.

Your dog comes home having practiced calm — not just having survived the time away.

Board & Train

For owners who need a reset and want Steve to work directly with their dog on specific behavior challenges.

Board & Train is for owners who feel stuck — where the behavior problems are significant enough that they need direct intervention, not just coaching sessions.

Steve works with your dog daily on their specific challenges, building the foundation of calm decision-making through structured environments and patient repetition. The goal isn't to "fix" the dog — it's to show them that good decisions are possible and that choosing right feels better than reacting.

When your dog comes home, you'll receive a clear transition plan so the work doesn't stop at the door. The real training starts when your dog comes back — and Steve will make sure you're ready for it.
