Sessions take place at Steve's home in Hillsboro or a nearby field — settings calm enough for your dog to think and for you to learn. Steve works with you directly, so the skills travel home with you.
The goal isn't a dog who behaves when Steve is in the room. It's a dog who makes good choices in your real life.

A NOTE ON CADENCE
You choose what works for your schedule — but the owners who see the strongest results book sessions roughly two weeks apart. It gives your dog enough time to practice, and you enough time to notice what's changing.
Each session up to 30 minutes. Single sessions after your first consult are $50, or save by moving into a package. Packages expire 6 months from purchase. Unused sessions are non-refundable but may be applied toward boarding or board & train.

Boarding
For dogs who need structure, calm, and consistent enrichment while their owners are away.
When your dog stays with Steve, they're not just being watched — they're being worked with. The environment is designed from the ground up for calm: predictable routines, structured rest, and mental enrichment that meets the dog where they are.
Every boarding stay is tailored to the dog. Some dogs need more decompression time. Some need confidence-building through problem-solving activities. Some just need a consistent, patient handler who doesn't react to the behavior they're working through.
Your dog comes home having practiced calm — not just having survived the time away.
Additional dogs from the same household are $50/night.
Daycare availability is highly limited and reserved for current clients only. $45 for up to 10 hours. Ask about availability.
Board & Train
For owners who need a reset and want Steve to work directly with their dog on specific behavior challenges.
Board & Train is for owners who feel stuck — where the behavior problems are significant enough that they need direct intervention, not just coaching sessions.
Steve works with your dog daily on their specific challenges, building the foundation of calm decision-making through structured environments and patient repetition. The goal isn't to "fix" the dog — it's to show them that good decisions are possible and that choosing right feels better than reacting.
Every board and train ends with a structured handoff session — and the follow-up sessions built into every package make sure the work holds long after your dog comes home. The real training starts when your dog comes back, and Steve will be there to make sure it sticks.
